From its helpful courses to free resources and even a new podcast, Parenting Place is there to lend a hand whenever parents need it.
Going on three years now, every beam we place, every nail we drive, is done with the conviction that we’re building more than homes – we’re reinforcing the fabric of Kiwi family life.
Our contributions fuel Parenting Place’s transformative online course library, a trove of wisdom and practical advice for today’s dynamic parenting landscape.

For us, it doesn’t stop with donations. Across New Zealand, our teams have been busy hosting events to promote and fundraise for Parenting Place. Here’s a recap from 2023:
In November, our three Auckland franchisees hosted a Gala Dinner at the Royal NZ Yacht Squadron. They welcomed 250 trusted build partners for a night of elegance and giving. With delicious food and drinks flowing, the atmosphere was buzzing as guests vied for lots in a charity auction. Thanks to their incredible support, we raised over $70k on the night, with many guests committing to ongoing support for Parenting Place. It was a night filled with laughter, generosity and a shared commitment to making a difference in our community.
In Waikato, we hosted our incredibly popular “Parenting on Purpose” event for the second consecutive year. It was an evening brimming with practical wisdom and inspiration for parents from all walks of life. Our guest speakers shared their stories and insights, sparking meaningful conversations and connections among attendees. From laughter to ‘aha!’ moments, it was an event that left everyone feeling empowered and equipped to tackle parenting challenges.
And, in August, our Taranaki team organised a wonderful event hosted by Pio Terei, who kept the atmosphere lively with his natural comedy and ability to connect with the crowd, while the speakers delivered practical and relatable advice, leaving every attendee with valuable tips and tricks to apply at home.
The event was a huge success, with 70 parents, teachers, principals, grandparents, children and youth workers in attendance. And we helped to raise money for Parenting Place and the local parenting hub that runs PP Toolbox courses.
